Common Art Week 05 - Use of Perspective

This week I had to create a prop for our Alice in Wonderland game. The prop had to be shown in 3 perspectives: 1, 2. and 3-point. I decided to do the watch, one of the rabbits most notable items. Below is the complete render pass, as well as all of the other passes.

Week 05 - Chest Proxy and Game Model

This week we were given a list of references to base our model off of to make a chest, barrel, or crate. I chose to do a chest. I somewhat regret my decision because I was not able to work on the assignment over the weekend so this piece seems to be at a lower quality than what I normally produce. However, I still put my mind to it and tried my best to get an accurate chest somewhat based on the image.

Week 04 - ZBrush Hammer

This week we were given the task of making a hammer in ZBrush using reference images. I chose the Harley Quinn-esque one thinking it would be a challenge. I was right. In the end, I had about 28 million polygons on the hammer. I added scrapes and dents to apply a used-look to it. My favorite part was trying to make the cloth on the handle.

Common Art Week 03 - Use of Value and Contrast

This week our group was tasked with creating detail drawings of the chosen silhouettes from last week using grayscale value and contrast. I decided to go a more Ori-based route and try to go for a less-human look.

Week 03 - Simple ZBrush Head Project

This week we were tasked with creating a head in ZBrush with eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. When I heard about this project I 100% wanted to make a "Handsome Squidward" from Spongebob but in 3D. I think it turned out the best it could, since 2D animation doesn't have to have any realistic proportions. The thing I struggled the most with was the mouth for sure. Since Handsome Squidward has such a small mouth, it was difficult to get lips to actually show. Here's the final product and references:

Also I had to add my own ears because Squidward does not have any.

Gods of War Check-In 6: The Final Push

This final sprint was the last push for the project. My goal was optimizing the rock wall even more, making the rocks bigger, and rigging t...
